Scheduling is the backbone of an office’s strategy and one of the most visible ways priorities are translated into action. This session will be held later in the afternoon than the other events and will be followed by a reception. We’ll focus on how chiefs can partner with scheduling staff to evaluate requests, balance district and Washington responsibilities, and protect time for legislative work and oversight. Panelists will discuss practical systems for decision-making, setting expectations with internal teams and external stakeholders, and building schedules that reflect the Member’s objectives while supporting sustainable office operations.
