How to Create a Recurring Event on CalGet

Creating a recurring event on CalGet is simple and ensures your attendees never miss an important date. Follow these steps to set it up:

Step 1: Click the “Create Event” Button

Start by logging into your CalGet account and clicking the “Create Event” button. This will open a form to input your event details.

Step 2: Fill Out Event Information

Enter the necessary details for your event, such as:

Event Title

Date and Time

Event Location (if applicable)

Description or Notes

Make sure everything is accurate, as this information will be included in the calendar invitation.

Step 3: Enable the Recurring Event Option

Scroll down to find the “Recurring Event” toggle. Switch it on to set up a repeating schedule for your event.

Step 4: Customize the Recurrence Schedule

Once enabled, you’ll see options to define your recurring schedule. Adjust the following settings:

Repeat Every: Choose the frequency (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly).

Day(s): Select the specific day(s) of the week your event will recur.

End Date: Decide when the recurrence ends (e.g., after a specific date, after a number of occurrences, or never).

Step 5: Save Your Event

Once your recurrence settings are complete, click the “Set” button to confirm. Then, finalize by clicking the “Save” button at the bottom of the form.

Step 6: Share Your Event Link

After saving, CalGet will generate a shareable link and optional QR code. Share this link via email, social media, or embed it on your website to let attendees add the recurring event to their calendars.

Tips for Recurring Events:

Clear Titles: Use descriptive event titles to make it easier for attendees to recognize your event.

Double-Check Schedule: Review the recurrence settings to ensure your schedule matches your plan.

Subscription Links: Encourage attendees to subscribe to your calendar to stay updated with changes.

Using CalGet’s recurring event feature is an excellent way to streamline event management while keeping your attendees organized and informed.
