How to Embed an Events Calendar on Kajabi (2026 Guide)

It's Monday morning and three students have already messaged you: "Is there class on Thursday?", "When's the breathwork workshop again?", "Can I get the Zoom time for the Q&A?" The answers are all somewhere, in an old email, an Instagram story, a sales page for one event. What your students actually want is one page that shows every class, workshop and live session, on the dates they happen.

If your business runs on Kajabi, that page can live right on your Kajabi site. This guide shows you how to embed an events calendar on your Kajabi website, step by step, using a real calendar we built for a small yoga studio: a weekly class that repeats on its own, workshops, live online sessions, and a calendar that matches the site and works on every phone.

Does Kajabi have an events calendar?

Not one that shows your whole schedule. Kajabi has Events, a marketing feature: each Event is a date and time with registration and automated emails around it, and Kajabi adds Add to Calendar links to the confirmation emails and the Event page (Kajabi: Create an Event). On your website, the Event block displays one Event you pick from a dropdown (Kajabi: Add an event to a page).

That's great for a launch or a single webinar. It's not built for a studio schedule, a coaching program with weekly calls, or a community with something on every week. For that, you need a calendar view, and the way to get one on Kajabi is to embed it with a Custom Code block. Kajabi even names "a calendar booking widget" as an example of what that block is for (Kajabi: Add custom code to pages).

An embedded calendar doesn't replace Kajabi Events. If you sell a ticketed launch or a webinar funnel, keep using Events for that, and use the calendar to show everything else that's coming up.

What you need before you start

• A Kajabi site with a Website Page for the calendar (a "Schedule" or "Events" page works well).
• A CalGet account on a plan that includes the embeddable calendar and recurring events (the paid plans; see pricing).
• Your Kajabi addresses. Your default subdomain (yoursite.mykajabi.com) is under Settings → Domain in Kajabi, plus your own domain if you connected one.

How to embed an events calendar on your Kajabi website

Here's the whole process at a glance. Each step is explained below.

1. 1Create a calendar in CalGet and add your events.

Step 1: Create your calendar and add events in CalGet

In CalGet, open Calendars, click New Calendar, name it (we used "Juniper Flow Yoga") and click Create Calendar. Then click New Event and fill in the title, date and time, where it happens and a short description. For online sessions, write what students need to know, like "Online, Zoom link in your welcome email", instead of pasting a private meeting link on a public page.

Step 2: Make weekly classes repeat on their own

For anything that happens every week, turn on Recurring, choose Week, pick the day and click Set Recurrence, then Create Event Link. You create the class once, and it shows up every week on the calendar. Add your workshops and live sessions the same way, as one-off events.

Good to know: as CalGet's note in that dialog says, a whole repeating series can be added to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and iCal. For people on Yahoo or Outlook, the best option is subscribing to the whole calendar, which the embedded calendar offers with one button.

Step 3: Make it yours in Embeddable Calendar

Open Embeddable Calendar and pick your calendar in the dropdown at the top (untick any you don't want to show). The preview is the real calendar, so every change shows up as you make it.

Step 4: Add your Kajabi addresses under Domains

This is the step most people miss. CalGet only shows your calendar on websites you allow, and Kajabi serves your site on two addresses: your default mykajabi.com subdomain and your connected custom domain. Kajabi says your site "can be accessed through both your Kajabi subdomain and a connected custom domain" (Kajabi: default subdomain vs custom domain), so add both.

Click Domains, then Add Domain, type the address without https:// and click Add Domain. Repeat for the second address.

Skip this and your page shows Access Restricted instead of the calendar. The message names the exact address to add, so if you ever see it, copy that address into Domains and refresh.

Step 5: Copy the embed code

Click Get embed code. Keep JS Embed, the recommended option, which "auto-resizes to fit content and stays in sync with the latest features", and click Copy code. The code is a short <div> with your settings and one <script> tag.

Step 6: Open your page in Kajabi

In Kajabi, go to Website → Website Pages, find the page for your calendar and click the Customize icon (the color palette) next to it, or click the page title (Kajabi: Access the page editor).

Step 7: Add a Custom Code block and paste the code

In the Sections tab, click the section where the calendar should go (or click Add section for a new one). Click Add block, choose Custom Code, and paste the code into the Code field. Kajabi adds the new block at the bottom of the section; reorder it if you want it higher (Kajabi: Add and manage blocks).

Two things matter here. Paste the whole code: Kajabi's Custom Code block needs the <script> tag to run JavaScript, and CalGet's code already includes it. And leave the block's Width at 12 columns, so the calendar gets the full width of the section.

Step 8: Save and check your live page

Click Save in the top right, then open your live page. Check it at both of your addresses and on your phone. That's it: your events calendar is on your Kajabi site.

What your visitors can do with the calendar

The calendar isn't just a picture of your schedule. On the live page, visitors can:

• Search for a class by name, like "breath" for the Breathwork Workshop.
• Click a day and see everything on it in the side panel.
• Open any event for the time, place and description.
• Add it to their calendar: Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, Yahoo or an ICS download.
• Subscribe to the whole calendar (Google, Apple, Outlook or Office 365), so new classes appear in their own calendar automatically.

On a phone, the calendar fits the screen: the month on top, the day's events underneath, and the same Add to Calendar menu one tap away.

Subscriptions are worth a mention for course creators and studios. A student who subscribes never has to ask "when's the next one?" again, because every class you add lands in their calendar. Our guide to subscription calendars explains how that works.

Keeping your Kajabi calendar up to date

You only paste the code once. From then on, you manage events in CalGet: add a class, change a time, cancel a session, and your Kajabi page shows the change the next time it loads. We tested it by adding a "Halloween Candlelight Flow" on October 31 after the page was published; it appeared on the page with no new code and no Kajabi edit.

Troubleshooting: if your calendar doesn't show

Tips for course creators, coaches and studios

One calendar per audience. If members and the public see different events, make two calendars and embed each on its own page.

Keep private links private. The calendar is public. Put "Zoom link in your welcome email" in the location and keep the actual link inside Kajabi, where only members can see it.

Pick the view that fits. Month with a side panel works for a weekly schedule; Card view works well when you only run a few events a month.

Use guest events for communities. If your members host meetups, turn on Accept guest events. Their events wait for your approval before they appear.

How we tested this

We built a real CalGet calendar, "Juniper Flow Yoga", with a weekly Tuesday class (Recurring, every Tuesday from October 13, 2026), a Thursday evening class, a live online Q&A, two workshops and an online course kickoff. We styled it in Embeddable Calendar (custom color, side panel, Sunday start, New York time, guest events on), added both of the studio's addresses under Domains, copied the JS Embed code and ran it on the studio's Schedule page, on a desktop browser and an iPhone. We checked search, the side panel, Add to Calendar, Subscribe to Calendar, the Access Restricted message before the domains were added, and that a new event appeared without touching the page.

Frequently asked questions

Does Kajabi have a built-in events calendar?

Kajabi has Events, a marketing feature for single dates like launches and webinars, and an Event block that shows one Event on a page. It doesn't have a block that shows all your events as a calendar, so the usual way is to embed one with a Custom Code block.

How do I add a calendar to my Kajabi website?

Build the calendar in a tool like CalGet and copy its embed code. In Kajabi, go to Website → Website Pages, click Customize next to your page, open a section, click Add block → Custom Code, paste the code into the Code field and click Save.

Why does my embedded calendar say "Access Restricted" on Kajabi?

The address your page is on hasn't been allowed yet. In CalGet, open Embeddable Calendar → Domains and add the address the message names. Add both your yoursite.mykajabi.com subdomain and your custom domain, because Kajabi serves your site on both.

Where do I paste embed code in Kajabi?

For a calendar, paste it into a Custom Code block inside a section of your page (Add block → Custom Code → the Code field). Kajabi's page Settings → Custom Code fields are for CSS and JavaScript without <script> tags, so a full embed code belongs in the block.

Do I need to update the code when I add new events?

No. You paste the code once. When you add, change or remove events in CalGet, your Kajabi page shows the change the next time it loads.

Can I show recurring classes on my Kajabi calendar?

Yes. Turn on Recurring for the event in CalGet, choose Week and pick the day. The class appears on every matching day of the embedded calendar.

Does the calendar work on mobile?

Yes. The embedded calendar adapts to the phone's width, and visitors can tap a day, open an event and add it to their calendar. You can check the phone layout in CalGet's preview before you publish.

Can visitors add events to their own calendar?

Yes. Every event has an Add to Calendar menu for Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, Yahoo and an ICS file, and visitors can subscribe to the whole calendar so new events appear automatically.

Can I embed Google Calendar in Kajabi instead?
